3. Registration and Accounts

1. User Age

Users must be at least 18 years old. Jadid.com reserves the right to request documents to verify age when necessary.

2. Personal Information

Users must provide accurate and up-to-date account information, including full name, profile photo, freelance license (if applicable), bank account details, and any other required data.
Providing false information or impersonating another person may result in temporary or permanent account suspension.

3. Account Usage

6- Account: The user’s personal profile containing their data and access to platform services.

7- Profile Information: Data provided by members including full name, specialization, skills, city and country, and work history (for intermediaries).

8- Shopper / Intermediary: A registered member of Jadid.com either as a shopper requesting luxury products or as a broker providing those services.

9- Products and Services: All offerings presented by intermediaries or requested by shoppers via the platform.

10- Review: Shopper feedback on the intermediary’s performance after receiving the product, based on platform-defined criteria.

11- Platform Commission: A fee shall be deducted from the total amount paid as follows: the buyer shall bear 1.5%, and the service provider shall bear 2% of their commission. The minimum deduction for each party shall be the equivalent of USD 3, or the applicable percentage, whichever is greater. Exceptions may apply at the sole discretion of the Platform’s management, including, without limitation, cases where the buyer cancels the project without a valid justification.

12- Tax: Refers to the 15% VAT applied to platform fees and commissions, which is non-refundable.

7. Platform Role in Managing Services

Jadid.com serves as a facilitator between intermediaries and shoppers and is not a party to any contract or agreement.

Key responsibilities include:

1- Relationship Management: Providing a safe and private environment for user interactions.

2- Secure Payments: Funds are held in escrow until the service is delivered and confirmed.

3- Communication Oversight: All discussions must occur within the platform to ensure transparency.

4- Delivery Supervision: Clear mechanisms for delivery, revisions, and file handover.

5- Dispute Resolution: The platform may intervene to resolve conflicts fairly.

6- Refunds: Shoppers may request refunds under defined conditions, with applicable fees and taxes deducted.

8. Membership and Deactivation

Upon registration, the user agrees to:

3- Licensing: Confirm possession of all necessary permits.

4- Accurate Description: Provide clear, truthful descriptions and properly categorize offerings.

5- No Misuse: Avoid spam or unrelated promotions.

6- Fixed Terms: No changes to terms after client acceptance.

7- Proper Categorization: Use correct classifications or consult the platform team.

8- Liability: Be fully responsible for published content and any legal consequences.

9- Ratings: Cannot contest reviews or rankings.

10- Feedback Policy: Cannot request removal/editing of client reviews.

11- External Content: Responsible for any links or third-party content posted.

12- Return/Exchange Policy: Must clearly state this within service descriptions.

13- Link Usage: May only link to Jadid.com’s homepage with prior approval.

10. Shopper Rights and Responsibilities

The shopper must:

You are prohibited from providing or distributing obscene, inappropriate, or promotional content related to such material, as this violates the platform's Terms of Use and may lead to consequences.

Jadid.com reserves the full right to review and monitor any content submitted by members on the platform and, at its sole discretion, to delete, modify, or remove any material deemed to violate the Terms of Use, affect public order, or infringe on the rights of others—without prior notice and without any liability towards the platform.

14. Protection, Indemnification, and Penalties

1. Indemnification.

Each member of Jadid.com (the “Platform”) shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Platform, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs) arising out of or relating to:

a. Any error, negligence, or breach of these Terms of Use or of any applicable laws or regulations by the member;

b. Any contracts, agreements, products, or services entered into, offered, or provided by the member through the Platform.

2. Reimbursement.

The member shall promptly reimburse the Platform for any amounts paid in connection with such claims, including any judgments, settlements, or legal expenses incurred.

3. Remedies for Breach.

In the event of any breach by the member of these Terms of Use or the Platform’s policies, the Platform reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to take any one or more of the following actions without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available under law:

a. Issue a written warning or an in-account notice, each of which shall have binding legal effect;

b. Suspend the member’s account, whether temporarily or permanently;

c. Remove or delete any infringing content, postings, or communications..

15. Jurisdiction

All disputes shall be resolved by the competent judicial authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which holds exclusive jurisdiction.
